Legge Farm Potatoes

Legge Farms sell potatoes to some of the biggest names in the food industry including supermarkets pre-pack, oven chip and roast potato processors, crisp producers and fish and chip outlets.

Throughout the growing process, care is taken to produce a tasty, healthy quality potato. This success has been recognised by our customers with Bill Legge (Managing Director) appearing on the back of Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference crisps, on the Potato Lovers website and in a Morrisons Café advert.

A dozen or more different varieties of potatoes are grown, each for a specific use. The crop is all stored on farm and delivered to customers directly, using one of the farms own three HGV's.

Legge Farms also host some variety trial sites, where new varieties are grown and assessed for their different attributes.
